🚗 Rubbish Disposal & Cleanliness Guidelines
Keeping the property clean and hygienic protects both people and animals.
Please follow these guidelines to manage waste responsibly and maintain a safe environment.
We don’t have household rubbish collection or communal rubbish bins at Berry Springs Farmstay.
Please keep your rubbish contained and remove it regularly to the Berry Springs Waste Facility.
Never leave rubbish bags, food waste, bottles, cans, packaging, empty toilet-paper rolls or unwanted belongings around your accommodation, bathroom, kitchen or shared areas.
Rubbish and food waste can attract animals, insects and wildlife and can also be dangerous to our animals.
🚗 No car? No problem.
Please message Silvia when your rubbish bags need to be removed, and arrangements can be made to take you and/or your rubbish to the waste facility.
➡️ When going to work or leaving the property, take your rubbish with you and drop it off
🌙 🚫 Do not leave rubbish outside overnight — this attracts mice, rats, and snakes
🤝 Coordinate with others if needed, but daily removal remains your responsibility
🐾 No bins are kept on the property, as animals will tip them over
🔸 You are fully responsible for your own rubbish at all times
♻️ If you collect cans or bottles, store them securely in your car
🚫 Do not store or hoard them around the property or inside your accommodation
🐾 Loose cans and bottles are a safety hazard for roaming animals such as guinea fowl and cats
🚗 If you wish to keep them, they must remain safely stored in your vehicle at all times
✅ Dispose of all rubbish responsibly
💨 Secure rubbish bags tightly to prevent litter spreading by wind or wildlife
🐜 Keep all areas free from food scraps, cans, bottles, and waste to avoid pests.
Failure to manage rubbish properly may result in cleaning costs or pest control measures being charged.
