We’re a rural oasis - come help us care for our furry and feathered family.
At Berry Springs Farm Stay, we understand that pets are part of the family. While we welcome certain pets, we have specific guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and resident animals.
✅ Small pets such as cats, rabbits, or birds are generally welcome.
❌ Big dogs are usually not allowed due to the presence of our resident animals. However, exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If you wish to bring a pet, prior approval is required. Please contact us in advance with details about your pet, including:
- Breed and size
- Temperament
- Any special care requirements
- Registration
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, pet owners must follow these guidelines:
🔹 Supervision & Safety
- Pets must be kept outdoors and in a secure area/enclosure when unattended.
- Owners are fully responsible for their pet’s behavior, well-being and registration.
🔹 Cleanliness & Respect
- All pets must be house-trained and well-behaved.
- Cleaning up after pets is mandatory. Any damage caused may result in additional charges.
🔹 Consideration for Other Guests & Animals
- Pets must not disturb other guests or resident animals.
- Excessive noise (such as barking) must be managed appropriately.
If you’d like to bring a pet, please contact us in advance with the required details. We’ll review your request and let you know if your pet is approved for the stay.

Staying 4 weeks or more? You’re invited to help with our animals’ daily care. Only here for a week or two? No problem—there are plenty of animal-focused projects: fixing fences, mowing/grass cutting, paddock cleaning, and improving enclosures. Every contribution counts!
At Berry Springs Farmstay—our little oasis on a private property—we care for many rescue animals who now live safe, happy lives. During your stay, you can meet and gently help care for our miniature donkeys, goats, pigs, geese, ducks, chickens, guinea fowl, and rabbits. Rescuing and rehousing animals is a core value here: each has a unique story, and we’re grateful to be part of their second chance. If you’re lucky, you might even catch special moments with baby chicks and goslings—pure cuteness!
