💧 We are on a septic system — only thin toilet paper may be flushed.
🚫 Do not flush wipes, paper towels, sanitary items, or any other materials. These can block the system and cause costly damage.
🐍 Keep the door closed to prevent frogs, snakes, and insects from entering.
🚽 Keep the toilet lid down when not in use — this helps keep wildlife and smells out.
☀️ We run on solar power, so please be mindful with the water usage, especially on cloudy days.
💦 Always turn off taps properly after use to conserve water.
If the water pressure is low, the water tank is getting filled up.

Our outdoor bathroom is designed for tropical, off-grid living.
Please close the door and toilet lid after every use, particularly to help keep snakes, frogs and insects outside.
There is purposely no permanent light installed in the bathroom, as lights attract large numbers of mosquitoes and bugs. Please take a headlamp or torch at night. 🔦
Our toilet is connected to an organic septic system. Only light toilet paper may be flushed. Sanitary products, wipes, tissues, paper towels and all other items must never be flushed.
Please clean the toilet and sink after yourself and take your toiletries, toilet-paper rolls and belongings with you.
Never wash dishes in the bathroom sink.
If the sink becomes blocked, please clear it immediately using the wire provided beside the toilet.
