At Berry Springs Farmstay, animal care is part of daily life and central to everything we do.
We welcome responsible individuals who are interested in learning about caring for animals such as donkeys, goats, dogs, chickens, and more β all within a peaceful, rural Northern Territory setting. π΄
This is a private, non-commercial lifestyle experience, focused on learning, responsibility, and connection with animals and nature.
π Daily Animal Care
Participants help with:

Feeding, watering, and checking on animalsβ wellbeing

Maintaining clean, safe enclosures

Providing fresh bedding and ensuring hygiene standards

Observing animal behaviour and reporting concerns promptly
Morning routines begin around 6:30β7:00 AM, with evening rounds between 6:00β7:00 PM.

This is not employment or formal volunteering. Itβs a hands-on learning opportunity where individuals gain practical experience in animal care, property maintenance, and responsible rural living.
Each person is expected to take initiative, follow written instructions carefully, and leave the area better for the next helper.
