🌿 About Berry Springs Farmstay
Berry Springs Farmstay is a small rural property focused on animal care, sustainability, and general farm maintenance.
We occasionally welcome live-in caretakers and creative helpers who contribute to the farm’s practical and media projects while experiencing country life in the Top End.
📸 About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, reliable media assistant to support our online presence through:
Editing videos for Reels, TikTok, YouTube, and the website
Taking and editing farm and animal photos
Creating short clips that showcase daily life, animal care, and projects
You’ll collaborate with our small team to document rural living and promote community awareness about caring for animals and the environment.
🏡 Living on the Property
Caretakers live on-site as part of our rural household and community.
We provide:
Comfortable accommodation (private or shared, depending on availability)
Access to shared farm facilities including the kitchen, laundry, and pool (daytime use until 7 PM)
A small, refundable bond of AUD 200 is requested to ensure care for shared spaces and equipment.
💚 This is a live-in caretaker role within a rural residence — not a commercial job or accommodation service.
Support is available as long as the farm budget allows and the person stays for a minimum of 3 months.
🐾 Typical Daily Tasks
Besides media projects, helpers often take part in light farm duties such as:
Feeding and checking on animals
Gardening and grounds maintenance
Cleaning animal enclosures
Assisting with property repairs or projects
