Is it true that I can stay for free?
Yes—if you sign up as a helper and commit to a stay of at least a few weeks.
Free stays are an exchange: around 3 hours of help per day (animal care, gardening, light maintenance). You cover your own food and personal expenses. Spots are limited and subject to approval—please apply via our helper form and share your skills, dates, and references.
Is there a minimum age requirement to reserve a room?
18 years
What is your policy regarding cancellations?
Unfortunately your bond will not be refunded.
Will I be charged for extra guests occupying my room?
Each person will pay a bond and for the room. However you can't bring additional guest without confirming with us.
What is the minimum of hours to help required?
We accept helpers who are committed to help 3 hours/day.
Can I book via the website without giving my credit card number?
You can pay with your Pay
-Id or bank transfer.
How do I get food vouchers?
We sometimes offer AUD 100 food vouchers for helpers staying 2 months who bring special skills (e.g., animal care, building, maintenance). Please ask about availability when applying. If accepted and you’re committed to helping 5 hours per day, you can receive AUD 100 in food vouchers each week during your approved help period. Terms apply and are subject to availability and satisfactory contribution.
