I agree to read, understand and follow the Berry Springs Farmstay House & Property Rules throughout my stay.

I understand that Berry Springs Farmstay is a rural, off-grid property and that staying on the property involves inherent risks. I voluntarily accept these risks and am responsible for my own actions, personal safety and belongings.

To the extent permitted by law, the owner of Berry Springs Farmstay is not responsible or liable for injury, loss or damage resulting from the inherent risks of the property, my own actions, or my failure to follow safety instructions or the House & Property Rules.

I accept responsibility for the care, welfare and safety of the animals entrusted to me during the agreed animal care period.

🐾 Animal Care Agreement Terms

Purpose of Stay / Animal Care Role
This arrangement provides a temporary living opportunity on a private rural property in Berry Springs (NT). The occupant assists with daily animal care, gardening, or light maintenance as part of normal rural living. It is a non-commercial, lifestyle-based arrangement that allows carers to reside on-site while contributing to the property’s upkeep. No wages, employment, or formal volunteer relationship is created.

License to Reside
The occupant holds a temporary license to reside, not a tenancy. This does not create rights under the Northern Territory Residential Tenancies Act and is not a rental or accommodation contract. The owner may withdraw or cancel the license at any time if terms are breached or by mutual agreement.

Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia. Any matters arising are handled within that jurisdiction.

Berry Springs Farmstay is a private rural residence. “Farmstay” refers to a rural lifestyle, not commercial accommodation or a volunteer program.
